My story

I am Claudia Voss and since 2000 I have been taking care of Acquadiaccia, a niche winery in Panzano in Chianti which expresses in every detail my deep connection with the Chianti area and with Italy.

Acquadiaccia produces around 2000 certified organic bottles per year. The entire winemaking process is carried out and coordinated by me, without the help of a winemaker.

From my passion and commitment and that of my collaborators, elegant, savory and structured wines are born, the certainty of a sumptuous balance of the senses.

Over the years, recognition has come from sommeliers and food and wine magazines in Italy, including Gambero Rosso, which in 2023 awarded the two glasses to the 2017 and 2018 Gran Selezione.

Agriculture: a philosophy of matter and spirit

In addition to certified organic agriculture since 2003, I practice biodynamic agriculture according to the teachings of R. Steiner. Biodynamics is an act of care and awareness of the natural organism that surrounds us.

The vineyard

Mine is a micro company, with 1.2 hectares of vineyard. 90% of the blend is San Giovese variety, 10% is Canaiolo, an ancient native vine of the region, which gives the wine pleasant floral notes.

The wine

Acquadiaccia produces Chianti Classico DOCG. The Consortium's regulations allow three types: Annata, Riserva, and Gran Selezione. Each wine ages between 12 and 22 months in oak barriques.
